Ugly Betty vs. I ♥ Betty La Fea Since I am a fan of Ugly Betty, I was very excited to find out when the Philippines teamed up John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo (my fave love team) for the Filipino version of Yo Soy Betty, La Fea. Because of the licensing conflicts, I can't get I Love Betty La Fea on The Filipino Channel (TFC). After some browsing, I found All About ShowBiz, which posts videos of the episodes airing in the Philippines. Unfortunately, I didn't get past the 2nd or 3rd episode. Everything was disappointing :( It just seemed like they were trying hard to copy Ugly Betty, instead of doing their own take on the original...
